La Place loyalty app offers Easter prize giveaway game

Customers of La Place can now take part in a new Easter-themed challenge via the restaurant chain's loyalty app, La Place Extra's, with the chance to win a year of free food at La Place (to the value of €1,000).

m—wise is proud to have provided the technical expertise and creative strategy to make this exciting app add-on available to customers, in cooperation with La Place and partners Mobile Strategy and ARA.

Gamification meets event-driven marketing

From 5 March until 2 April 2018, users can find a new Easter-themed game in the official La Place Extra's app. To participate, they will need to visit La Place restaurants to locate images of Easter eggs and scan them using the app. Once all six are scanned, customers can visit the point of sale to receive a free gift.

This seasonal add-on blends event-driven marketing with gamification strategy to engage customers and encourage them to visit La Place locations. By driving physical footfall, the campaign demonstrates how online loyalty strategies can generate offline sales.
